August Program Meeting Mary Alice Black

Our August program meeting featured lovely floral arrangements by Mary Alice Black. She demonstrated making arrangements from silk and real flowers and even made a corsage during the meeting.

Back Wall display

Our back wall display changes from month to month and we try to feature area artists. The month of August we featured Phyllis Anderson. We had a reception for her on August 17.

Children's art classes

This summer the Ouachita Artist Gallery offered Friday afternoon classes for children. We had a great turn out and it seems this has been a big hit. Classes this fall for children will be offered on Saturday mornings. A big thanks to Barbara Holt and Martha Koelemay for hosting this.
